Barons-Eureka-Warner Family and Community Support Services is a not-for-profit agency funded as a cost share between local municipal and provincial governments. Its overall mission is to prevent social breakdown and the costs, both personal and financial, associated with it.

Our intent is to partner with like-minded organizations to achieve this end.

Recently, an initiative was implemented with the following Vision Statement:

"Children are raised in nurturing homes by their married mother and father, and adults enjoy mutually fulfilling and lifelong marriages."

A three-fold approach has begun to encourage this. First, we are approaching other organizations that provide education leading to healthy marriages, beginning in the schools, with resources to enhance, if possible, their current efforts.

Second, we will invite those who offer services to promote healthy marriages to list themselves and a description of those services on a webpage. This web site will carry information ranging from local to international, no cost to fee for service, secular to ecclesiastical, and general public to professional development.

We believe that more can be achieved through cooperative means than is possible through isolated, sporadic efforts. Therefore, third, we hope to unite those interested in promoting healthy marriages to join in a coalition directed effort to enhance and enrich the means to achieve this for the constituents of south west Alberta.

Our children and their parents deserve the best we can help them to achieve. We invite you to consider this renewed effort to strengthen the basic unit of society, and join with us in fostering stronger marriages today and into the future.
