Aging Family Members
The Ties That Bind Aging Families
Dr. Anne Martin-Matthews. This paper examines the structure and dynamics of caring relationships
within and between generations and discusses these in the context of population aging.
Issues of 'caregiving' within and between generations is discussed and how these vary as a
function of such factors as gender, ethnicity, and rural-urban and regional location within Canada.
